Introducing Your Safer Neighbourhood Team

With Stuart and Tracey from the Leytonstone Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Crime and anti-social behaviour are issues that worries many residents living in Leyton ward. To give local people a face-to-face opportunity to tell him their concerns, local MP Harry Cohen hosted a coffee morning at the Trinity Methodist Hall in Leyton High Rd, which was attended by PC Stuart Murray and PCSO Tracey Aroui from the Leytonstone Safer Neighbourhoods Team.

The coffee morning was a roaring success. More than 300 local residents from Leyton and Grove Green enjoyed a cup of tea and a chat with Harry. They also discussed their problems with the local Councillors who had come along.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Julia, Andrew and Paul, our fantastic helpers, for being such demons with the kettle!
