Thank you so much to Garrick Prayogg and Roland Houslin from Justice For Windrush Generations, for inviting the Windrush Justice Clinic (on whose board I sit) to the House of Commons on the evening of Wednesday 22nd March, to address the community, and supportive MPs and peers, on the work we are doing to help Windrush victims obtain compensation.

Embracing Equity at the Sunday Assembly
It was really wonderful to join the London Sunday Assembly, at the great Conway Hall, on Sunday 5th March 2023, to speak about “Embracing Equity”, the theme of this year’s International Womens Day celebrations. My contribution is just after 35 minutes HERE.
UK visit of the UN Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent
What an honour to participate in the main symposium of the UK country visit of the United Nations Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent organised by fellow barrister and UN Fellow Priscellia Robinson on Saturday 21st January 2023.
Over the course of the afternoon and evening, Ms Barbara Reynolds and her UN colleagues listened to heartfelt evidence and testimony from a wide range of Black British voices, spanning civil society, on issues concerning education, health, housing, the environment, data, culture, youth, criminal justice and more.
The symposium, held at the University of West London, was just one of a series of events the working group is holding as part of its UK visit.
