It was a real honour to meet the Reverend Al Sharpton for breakfast in New York whilst on a recent trip to New York and Washington. He was absolutely charming.

I am really happy to have moved to Staple Inn Chambers, my new barrister home, where I will be clerked by my old Senior Clerk Lee Williams. Great clerks are worth their weight in gold and Lee gave me so much unstinting support during my pupillage. I am delighted to be working with him again! This morning I was heartbroken to attend – via livestream – the funeral of Ken Rogers, former Head of Chambers at the former Invictus Chambers.
Ken changed the course of my life forever. After having had my first pupillage offer withdrawn in 2013 and then the second chambers I was supposed to undertake pupillage with collapsing in 2017, Ken kept my dream of going to the Bar alive by taking me in at Invictus Chambers in 2018.
