Kreative Culture Klub, the fabulous local youth arts group, based in Leyton ward, will be hosting its 7th Young, Gifted and Black awards ceremony, next Friday 20th of February, at Walthamstow Assembly Hall. Tickets are £8 for adults and £4 for students and youth under 17.
Those of you who remember THIS POST from May 2007, will remember how these seriously talented kids managed to impress the BBC Daily Politics’ Andrew Neil and thousands of Daily Politics viewers around the country.
That was after impressing Cherie Blair in 2006!!!!!!!!!!
Tireless KCK co-ordinator Yvonne Bailey (pictured above directly to the right of Cherie) tells me the kids have also been filmed by the BBC for this year’s Comic Relief – excellent news!
If you’re not doing anything next Friday night, I thoroughly recommend you going along to support some of our borough’s most talented young artists and performers. It should be an excellent night.
