A really lovely night on Wednesday 15th November 2023 celebrating my friend Abena Oppong-Asare MP at her political fundraiser.
The packed venue, in the gorgeous setting of Yaatra restaurant, reflected the deep support Abena has from so many people across the UK Labour Party.
My highlight of the night was listening to Sarah Brown’s moving tribute to Jo Cox. Jo will never, ever be forgotten.
Looking forward to pounding the streets for Abena in the run up to the next General Election!
